Wallet Security Guidance
This guidance helps winners of the "England vs Norway" conditional promotional giveaway protect their funds and avoid common scams. It is provided by Aetheria Media Holdings S.r.l. ("we", "us", "our") for informational purposes and does not constitute financial or technical advice.
1. Use the Official Secure Workflow Only
1.1. Submit wallet details only through the official, secure winner-only workflow on this Site after verification has begun. The workflow will be clearly linked from the winner notification and accessible only after you have logged in or verified your identity as instructed.
1.2. Do not send wallet details by email, direct message, social media, telephone, or any other channel. We will not ask for them that way.
1.3. We will never send a direct link to a payment portal by unsolicited message. Always verify that you are on the official website (check the domain carefully) before entering any wallet information.
2. Confirm the Network
2.1. Always confirm the selected blockchain network (for example, ERC-20 or TRC-20) before submitting your address, and ensure that your wallet supports that network. Sending to the wrong network may permanently lose funds.
2.2. If you are not sure which network your wallet supports, check your wallet provider's documentation or contact their support before submitting your address. Do not guess.
2.3. Be aware that some custodial exchanges and wallets may not credit deposits made on certain networks, even if the address format looks correct. Use a self-custody wallet that supports the selected network wherever possible.
3. Never Share Private Keys or Recovery Phrases
3.1. Your private key and seed/recovery phrase control access to your funds. They must never be shared with anyone, including people who claim to be from the Promoter, "support", "verification", or "treasury" teams.
3.2. We will never ask for your private key or recovery phrase. Anyone who does is attempting to defraud you. Do not enter them on any website, even one that looks identical to ours.
3.3. Store your recovery phrase offline, in a secure location, and ideally in multiple physically separate, secure places. Do not store it in cloud storage, email, screenshots, or password managers unless you have independently assessed the risk.
4. Beware of Impersonation and Phishing
4.1. Beware of impersonators posing as the Promoter, "support", "verification" staff, or fake accounts claiming to represent Stake, football players, or celebrities. We contact winners only through the email address provided at entry.
4.2. We never ask winners to pay a fee, send cryptocurrency, or provide a private key to claim a prize. Anyone who asks for these is not acting on our behalf and is likely running a scam.
4.3. If you receive a suspicious communication, do not click links, download attachments, or reply with personal information. Contact us through the official Contact & Complaints page instead, and forward the suspicious message if possible.
4.4. Check email sender addresses carefully. Scammers may use addresses that look similar to ours but contain small differences, extra characters, or different domains.
5. Use a Wallet You Control
5.1. Provide only a wallet address that you personally control. Do not use an exchange deposit address that does not support the selected network, and be aware that some custodial services may not credit certain networks.
5.2. A self-custody wallet for which you control the private keys is generally the safest option for receiving a large prize. Consider using a hardware wallet or other secure storage solution for significant amounts.
6. Double-Check Before Submitting
6.1. Enter your wallet address carefully and confirm it twice as prompted. Verify the first few and last few characters. A single wrong character can send funds to the wrong destination permanently.
6.2. After submitting your address, review the confirmation screen carefully. If anything looks wrong, do not proceed; contact us through the official channel immediately.
7. After Receipt
7.1. Once USDT is received in your wallet, consider moving it to a secure, offline or hardware-backed storage solution if you do not intend to use it immediately.
7.2. Monitor your wallet for any unauthorised transactions and follow your wallet provider's security recommendations, such as enabling transaction notifications where available.
8. Reporting Security Issues
8.1. If you suspect that your wallet has been compromised, that you have been the target of a phishing attempt, or that someone is impersonating the Promoter, please report it urgently via the Contact & Complaints page.
