Rollover Mechanism
1. Purpose and Status of This Document
1.1. This Rollover Mechanism ("Mechanism") forms part of the legal documentation for the conditional promotional giveaway (the "Promotion") operated by Aetheria Media Holdings S.r.l. (the "Promoter", "we", "us", "our"), having its address at Via S. Raffaele 1, 20121 Milano (MI), Italy.
1.2. This Mechanism is incorporated by reference into the Official Rules. Defined terms in the Official Rules have the same meaning here unless the context requires otherwise.
1.3. In the event of any inconsistency between this Mechanism and the Official Rules, the Official Rules prevail.
2. The Conditional Trigger and the Rollover Principle
2.1. The Promotion is strictly conditional. The entry window, the draw, and any prize disbursement are activated only when the England men's senior national football team is officially recorded as having lost a designated match (the "Trigger Condition").
2.2. If the Trigger Condition is not satisfied for a designated match, the Promotion is not triggered for that match and the entire Prize Pool, winner structure, and entry mechanics roll over to the next England match selected by the Promoter.
2.3. A "rollover" does not create a new or additional promotion. It continues the same Promotion under a revised trigger match. No entries are carried forward from any prior match because no entry window opens until the Trigger Condition is satisfied.
3. Historical Rollover: England vs Norway to England vs Argentina
3.1. The Promotion was originally designated as conditional on England losing to Norway in the FIFA World Cup 2026. England did not lose that match; England beat Norway and advanced.
3.2. Because the Trigger Condition was not satisfied for the England vs Norway fixture, the Promotion was not triggered for that match. The Prize Pool, winner structure, and entry mechanics rolled over to England's next match in the tournament, which is now England vs Argentina.
3.3. The same rollover principles apply to any future England match in this tournament or campaign: if England does not lose, the Prize Pool continues to roll over until either the Trigger Condition is satisfied or the Promotion is closed or restructured.
4. Application of the Rollover to Specific Match Outcomes
3.1. If England wins the designated match, the Trigger Condition is not satisfied. The Promotion is not triggered for that match and the Prize Pool rolls over to England's next match in the same tournament or campaign.
3.2. If the designated match ends in a draw, tie, or no-result, the Trigger Condition is not satisfied. The Promotion is not triggered for that match and the Prize Pool rolls over to England's next match in the same tournament or campaign.
3.3. If England wins the FIFA World Cup 2026, England will necessarily have won the Final and not lost it. The Trigger Condition cannot be satisfied for any match in the tournament, including the Final. In that event, the Promotion will not be triggered, the Prize Pool will not be awarded, and no entry window will open for the tournament. The Promoter may then close the Promotion as "not triggered" or may restructure it for a future campaign.
3.4. If England are eliminated from the tournament without an official match loss (for example, by a draw followed by a successful penalty shoot-out), the Trigger Condition is not satisfied for that match and the Promotion rolls over to the next England match in the same campaign, if any.
3.5. If England are eliminated by a loss, the Trigger Condition is satisfied for that match and the 48-hour entry window opens in accordance with the Official Rules.
5. Abandoned, Postponed, and Void Matches
4.1. If the designated match is abandoned, postponed, cancelled, declared void, or otherwise not concluded with an official final result, the Trigger Condition is not satisfied for that match.
4.2. The Promotion will roll over to the next England match in the same tournament or campaign, or, if the match is rescheduled and played to a conclusion, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, treat the rescheduled match as the active rollover match.
6. Opponent Flexibility
5.1. The Promotion is tied to the England men's senior national football team, not to any specific opponent.
5.2. If England's next match is against a different opponent because of tournament progression, knockout brackets, or re-draws, the rollover applies to that new opponent. The Trigger Condition remains the same: England must officially lose the match.
7. No Pre-Entry or Pre-Registration
6.1. No entries are collected for any match until the Promoter has confirmed that England lost that match. The entry form is disabled before the entry window opens.
6.2. No person may pre-register, pre-enter, reserve a place, or gain any advantage by visiting the site before the entry window opens.
8. Promoter Discretion and Announcement
7.1. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, determine the next rollover match, announce a rollover, close the Promotion as "not triggered", or restructure the Promotion for a future campaign.
7.2. Any rollover, closure, or restructuring will be published on this website and, where appropriate, reflected in the Official Rules and this Mechanism.
7.3. The Promoter may terminate the Promotion if continuation is impossible, unlawful, or impracticable, including if England are eliminated without a loss, if England win the tournament, or if the tournament is cancelled or materially altered.
9. Entrant Acknowledgement
8.1. By accessing the Promotion website, each entrant acknowledges and accepts that:
- the Promotion may roll over multiple times before the Trigger Condition is met;
- if England continue to win or draw, the Promotion may never be triggered for that tournament or campaign; and
- if England win the FIFA World Cup 2026, the Promotion will not be triggered and no Prize Pool will be awarded for that tournament.
10. Independence and No Third-Party Liability
9.1. This Promotion is operated solely by the Promoter. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Stake, any football club, any football league, any football player, FIFA, UEFA, the Football Association, any national football association, or any social-media platform.
9.2. No third party is responsible for any rollover decision, the failure of the Promotion to be triggered, or the consequences of England's match results.
